Scholarship Recipient Testimonials

  • "I received a Scholarship from ICC for my education. I would like to take this time to say Thank You. I am in my first year as a Freshman at Stevenson University, Owings Mills, MD. Because of the support from ICC I would not have been able to attend the College of my choice. Thank You again and Merry Christmas."

    Atiya M.
  • “Thank you very much for awarding me your scholarship.  I can not thank you enough for your generosity.  This scholarship will definitely help me pay some of [my] tuition’s expenses and will take some pressure off of my mother and I.  Thank you for helping me reach my goal towards becoming a marine biologist.”

    Shelby F.
  • I would like to express my gratitude for the scholarship [your] organization has granted me.  It will assist me with furthering my education and career.  On behalf of this organization, I vow to give back to my community as soon as I am able to do so.”

Our Programs

ICC Scholars' Program Schlarships             Since 1994, The Ivy Community Charities of Prince George’s County, Inc., has provided $400,000 in scholarships to more than 350 Prince George’s County students who demonstrated academic excellence or who possessed a strong desire to continue their education but were faced with financial challenges. Recognizing that Prince George’s County ranks number one among jurisdictions in the Washington area whose residents faced foreclosures, in 2014 we focused on making higher levels of awards to fewer students in order to help reduce the substantial financial demands of our county’s residents.  On June 3, 2014 we awarded $25,000 scholarships to deserving high school scholars. 2016 Scholarship Application Package
