On October 6th, 2018, The Institute for the Growth and Development of All America's Youth (Institute GADAAY) workshop was dedicated to “Building Your Economic Legacy”. Members Sharon Collins and Tanya Penny Woods led this workshop. We began with an age appropriate overview of the stock market which included key terminology and various strategies for making stock selections.
The GADAAY participants
were introduced to building wealth via the stockmarket and the creation of the Money Tree Game. The goal of this game was to invest $100,000 in the stock market and to grow their team’s money tree. Each month we will examine participant portfolio results, allowing permit adjustments mid-year. Each team will win a prize for participation and the big winner will receive a special award.
