Applications open for the inaugural cohort of the Ivy Village Incubator for Nonprofit Excellence (Ivy VINE)
The Ivy Community Charities of Prince George’s County, Inc. (Charities), established in 1986 is expanding its community service portfolio of youth development and parent engagement programs by “paying it forward” to help small nonprofits that share Charities’ mission to strengthen families and empower youth reach their full potential to impact citizens across Prince George’s County and beyond. The effort is being conducted in partnership with area stakeholders including Nonprofit Prince George’s County, Inc. who will assist in delivering the training for nonprofit leaders. Charities is constructing the facilities that will accommodate the participating nonprofits including a Smart Conference Center and Podcast Studio as well as Office Suites. Completion is expected in the fall of 2023, however, the training is expected to begin during fall 2022 and will be held at the Ivy Youth and Family Center located in Suitland, Maryland.
