SCHOLARSHIPS
The Ivy Community Charities of Prince George's County in conjunction with Alpha Kappa Alpha, Incorporated, Iota Gamma Omega Chapter annually presents scholarships to deserving students in Prince George's County, MD.

To be eligible for scholarships, students must meet the following criteria:

Be a high school senior.

Reside in Prince George's County, Maryland.

Can be enrolled in an approved home school program in Prince George's County, Maryland.

Have plans to pursue an Associate or Bachelor’s degree on a full-time basis at an accredited two (2) or four (4) year college or university.

Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5.

Children (biological or adopted), stepchildren or grandchildren of members of Iota Gamma Omega Chapter or Ivy Community Charities are INELIGIBLE for Ivy Community Charities Scholarships.

The Ivy Community Charities of Prince George’s County, Inc., is registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) organization. Your contribution is tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. A copy of our current financial statement is available upon request by contacting us at 6118 Walton Avenue, Suitland, MD 20746 or 301-702-7312. Documents and information submitted to the State of Maryland under the Maryland Charitable Solicitations Act are available from the Office of the Secretary of State for the cost of copying and postage.
